Design and realization of the architecture of the Czech Landscape exhibition, which was one of two parts of the Design & Tranformation exhibition in Brussels, presenting the history,
present and vision of Czech design.
We designed the installation as a symbolic landscape of mountains growing through the basement and ground floor of the Prague House in Brussels, rising to the top of contemporary design.

In the basement at the foot of the mountains there is a base camp for students and recent graduates of UMPRUM. The corridors towards the projection hall are dominated by photographs from the series by Vojtěch Veškrna. In the projection hall, you can then watch six short films about the stories and history of Czech companies, which were made under the direction of Michaela Režová in cooperation with UMPRUM and AMU.
The second part of the exhibition Czech Landscape is located in the ground floor of the Prague House in Brussels. The peaks of our fantasy landscape are rising above the clouds. In the beautiful historic 19th century rooms, we had the opportunity to exhibit some of the works of UMPRUM graduates and professors. The main hall is dominated by the Lasvit Herbarium glass chandelier, which stands above a lake of hand-tufted carpets from the Masopust Store studio. In the garden, mmcité then shows its production of outdoor furnishings.
